On Monday 9 December the Year 10 Physical Activity and Sports Studies (PASS) class went on an excursion to Manly beach for a surf awareness, body boarding and surfing lesson. Although arriving at the beach environment was a bit different to Wakeley with mention of the unknown like sharks, cold water, big waves and messy sand, the students made the most of the new experience. It was a great day with much laughter, challenge and fun.

Some students were even able to stand up surfing on their first try. We hope the students will be able to try again in the holidays sometime and further develop their skills.
