SCS Visual Arts Showcase
On Friday 24th March, Athra Istifan, graduating class of 2022, was selected to showcase her Visual Arts Major Work in the prestigious Sydney Catholic Schools Showcase at the McGlade Art Gallery in Strathfield. It was a proud moment for Athra and her family to exhibit her work and have the support of both Suzanne Andrews, her Learning Support Officer, and Ms Jemma O’Regan, her Visual Arts teacher.
Athra created a collection of six drawings titled ‘The Pack’. It reflected the characteristics and growth of her siblings and this was showcased through refined pencil drawings of various animals. This artwork is a testament to her skill, perseverance and dedication as a talented artist. Arthra is a true Mary MacKillop woman.
