Year 8
Well done to all Year 8 students and families on a successful Term 1. I have been very proud of the academic efforts of Year 8 this term, with many of the students really focusing on improving their study habits from Year 7. Year 8 have also shown great growth in their leadership, confidence and support of one another. This week, Year 8 ended the term with a fun Easter celebration with their Big Sisters, and Barazza groups talking about Earth Hour run by the Environment Club.
Next term, we will enjoy Week 1 with the House Swimming Carnival on the Wednesday (get your costumes, swimming and themed) ready! There is also cross-country trials, an ANZAC Day public holiday and celebration, and Year 8 will begin preparation for their Immersion Camp. Don’t forget to have perfect winter uniform from day 1! Drop those hems down over the break please and make sure blazers are ready to be worn each and every day. Details about the winter uniform requirements can be found on page 67 of the Parent Information Handbook.
Have a safe and happy Easter break, thank you for the support this term and I look forward seeing you all back at the end of April.
