Year 7 PDHPE – Safety Comes First!

This term in Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE), Year 7 have been learning their ABC’s….their DRSABCD’s!

In the Safety Comes First unit, Year 7 have been looking at decision making, risk taking and first aid. This has culminated in a different style assessment task where Year 7 received a random first aid scenario and were instructed to show their teacher the correct first aid procedure to identify and manage the issue. Year 7 have come prepared for this task and shown lots of interest in First Aid. Should you ever need assistance with bites, stings, allergies, bandaging or slings, ask your Year 7 child what to do!
