Year 7 Online Parent Teacher Evening

You are invited to the Parent Teacher Evening on Tuesday 20 June 2023 from 4pm to 7pm, to be conducted via Microsoft Teams video conferencing.

This evening provides a valuable opportunity to discuss your daughter’s academic progress and receive feedback from her teachers about her achievements, as well as look at areas for development. The girls benefit enormously by participating in this discussion and therefore, we welcome their attendance. The teachers also find it beneficial to meet you so that they can discuss your daughter’s progress and continue to cater for her individual and developing needs. 

Interviews are strictly five minutes and spaces are limited. If you require more time with a particular teacher, please arrange a separate meeting by emailing the teacher directly.

How to book your interview

  1. Visit the My MLC School Portal
  2. Enter your credentials using your registered email address or username and password. If you require password assistance, you can reset by visiting https://passwordreset.mlcsyd.nsw.edu.au or call (02) 8741 3162 for additional support.
  3. Click My Student under Quick Links
  4. Click on View Details under your daughter’s image.
  5. Select the heading Student Subjects and Teachers. Keep this screen open as a reference.
  6. Open a new window, visit www.schoolinterviews.com.au
  7. Click on Make a Booking and enter the unique booking code: 9z2uf
  8. Enter your details
  9. Select the teachers you wish to see
  10. Select your appointment time
  11. Select Finish to finalise your booking. A confirmation email will be emailed to you immediately. Please ensure you retain a copy of this for your records.

Please add your appointment/s to your calendar and diaries. Reminders will not be sent from the School Interview portal.

View, cancel, change or print booking

If you need to view, cancel, change or print your bookings click on the link in the confirmation email you received after you made your booking OR return to www.schoolinterviews.com.au and enter the code and the email address you used when making your booking.

Before you login

Refer to the Microsoft Teams How-To Guide for instructions on how to access Microsoft Teams as a guest user.

If you are using your daughter’s laptop, please ensure you have signed out of her Google and Microsoft school account/s. Alternatively, you can open an incognito window by selecting ‘File’ in your browser window, and then select New Incognito/Private Window. Right click on the details link in your confirmation email and copy and paste the link into Microsoft Teams.

Please remove all personal items from view during the video conference. If you have not received a confirmation email, please ensure you check your spam/junk email. If it has not arrived, please contact Ashley Wallis by emailing awallis@mlcsyd.nsw.edu.au in the Studies Office. 

Logging in to your interview

  1. Refer to the ‘Details’ link next to each teacher. Click on this link shortly before your designated appointment time to open your virtual meeting room.
     

  2. This link will allow you to enter the lobby via the web application. Enter your full name when prompted and click ‘Join Now’. The teacher will allow you to enter the meeting when they have finished with their prior appointment.

  3. Click on the ‘Details’ link as listed in Step 1 for each scheduled appointment. If you cannot see yourself in the lobby, click the ‘Details’ link in your confirmation email to re-enter.
