Year 7

As I write this, preparations and excitement for the Senior School House Athletics Carnival are in full swing! I look forward to updating you in next week’s newsletter about how amazing Year 7 were, how fast they ran, how high they jumped and how much they enjoyed the day! We also have Battle of the Bands today, another smashing day in the MLC School calendar!

This week Year 7 had their Chapel with the theme Seasons of Creation. Saumya Pulikkal, Fedra Nikolakopoulos, Chloe Nunn, Annaliese Bott, Susie Wang, Georgia Sutton and Lavinia Xu all spoke wonderfully and it was a lovely service. Year 7 also had some time in Academic Care to prepare for upcoming assessments. It is a busy part of the term and I encourage you to check in with your daughter on her planning, preparation and expectations around assessments. If you have questions about a task, please do not hesitate to reach out to the class teacher.
