Year 7

It was wonderful to have a Year meeting with Year 7 this week and I had the pleasure of handing out Awards for students who have sat some Mathematics Competitions recently. Year 7 were very well represented and produced some outstanding results. I must give a special shout out to Sissi Zheng (Year 7) who achieved a Perfect Score Award for the Kangourou des Mathématiques competition. The celebratory cheers from the cohort were wonderful to hear, well done Sissi!

Year 7 also showed their growth and bravery as they had their vaccinations on Wednesday. I was very impressed with their resilience and maturity as they supported one another and challenged themselves through the process.

I also spoke to Year 7 this week about the expectations of uniform, including ensuring they have their tie on each day, and bring their blazer to and from school every day. I thank you for your ongoing support with assisting to uphold the uniform standards.
