Year 11
After a big week, it’s time for Year 11 to take a breath. They have completed their first week of exams and got most of the big hitters out the way. I hope that the cohort are feeling a degree of achievement at having done this. They have done so with their usual ‘can do’ attitude, and I’m proud of them all for the way they face challenges head on.
I hope that all students take some time at the weekend not only to study for next week, but to decompress. They should play some sport, get outside, see a movie – whatever they need to help reset for another demanding week. I know many students will be rehearsing for the upcoming Dance Showcase, these students are to be commended for the level of commitment they are demonstrating at such a busy time.
I am sure the next week will go quickly. I’ve encouraged the Year group to keep an eye out for communications about the School Athletics Carnival on Monday 4 September 2023. This is a compulsory school event and I’m looking forward to seeing all students there.
