Upcoming UK University Information Evenings

We are pleased to share two exceptional opportunities for students and families to hear directly from leading UK universities as part of our extended Futures and Pathways network. Through the strength of our independent schools careers advisors network, we are fortunate to access expert speakers and resources from across the globe—shared generously between schools to benefit all our students.

This month, two schools are kindly hosting UK university representatives, and MLC School students and families are warmly invited to attend:

University of the Arts London (UAL)
Date: Thursday 14 August 2025, 5pm
Location: Astra Theatre, Queenwood
Details: Philip Scurrah, International Recruitment Coordinator (Academic), will present an overview of UAL’s six creative colleges, subject areas, and application process for pre-degree, foundation, and undergraduate study. Students will also have the chance to ask questions about courses and admissions pathways.

Imperial College London and University of Cambridge
Date: Tuesday 12 August 2025, 6.30pm – 7.30pm
Location: Audrey Keown Theatre, PLC Sydney
Details: Join Chloe McClean (Imperial) and Nathan Lamb (Cambridge) for a discussion on the benefits of UK higher education, personal statement tips, and guidance on applying to competitive UK institutions.

These visits from UK university representatives typically occur just once per year and are shared across schools to ensure our students gain access to world-class insights and guidance.

We strongly encourage interested students in Year 9 – Year 12 and their families to attend.
