MLC Junior School students produced some outstanding performances at the recent NSWCIS Primary Swimming Carnival, representing the School with dedication and sportsmanship. The level of competition was extremely high, and our swimmers rose to the challenge, achieving several top 10 finishes and multiple podium results.

CIS Primary Diving
This week, four Junior School MLC School students competed in the CIS Diving Championships at SOPAC:
- Emma Yan (Year 4)
- Grace Luo (Year 4)
- Calais Durie (Year 6)
- Charlotte Lim (Year 6)
All students competed in the 1m springboard event, with Emma and Calais also participating in the 5m Opens platform.
The results were as follows:
- Emma Yan (Year 4) – placed 1st in the 9 Years 1m Springboard and 6th in the 5m Opens platform.
- Grace Luo (Year 4) – placed 3rd in the 9 Years 1m Springboard.
- Calais Durie (Year 6) – placed 6th in the 11 Years 1m Springboard and 5th in the 5m Opens platform.
- Charlotte Lim (Year 6) – placed 7th in the 1m event.
Congratulations to all the girls on their fantastic performances. We wish Emma and Grace all the best following their NSWCIS selection as they prepare to compete at the NSWPSSA Championships on 28 April.
IGSA Hockey Trials
Well done to all girls who trialled at the U15 and U19 IGSA Hockey Trials. Seven MLC School students were accepted to trial, this is exciting, as it’s the most we’ve ever sent. They all played fantastically and held their own in a cohort of outstanding quality.
