Sporting Achievements
Diving – Country Championships, Orange 17 January to 18 January
Members of our MLC School Diving team with coach Shixin Lee travelled to Orange to compete at the Diving Country Championships. The Team achieved some fantastic results and gained lots of competition experience. During the holidays we also held a Diving Camp where girls were able to practice and learn new skills. In Orange the girls achieved the following results:

- 4th place 12/13 girls 1m

In Orange we all had such an amazing and fun time diving while facing new challenges that come with diving in an outdoor pool like wind, rain, and intense heat spread across both days we were out there. Country championships were such a great way to start off diving in 2026, and I hope the rest of the competition season goes as well as this.

Rowing
Over the summer holidays, the MLC School Rowing team travelled to Chifley Dam in Bathurst for a pre‑season training camp. Across the week, students collectively rowed well over 100,000 metres, pushing through early mornings, challenging sessions, and the occasional headwind. The camp balanced hard work with plenty of camaraderie, team bonding, and moments of fun on and off the water. The experience has provided a strong foundation for what promises to be a busy and competitive term of racing. With improved technique, and a strengthened team culture, the rowers are well‑positioned for an exciting season ahead.
