Music Concert Update – Monday 14 November and Tuesday 15 November 2022

My sincerest apologies for the confusion with communication in regard to the Music events happening next week.

There are multiple music performances next week. The Year 1 and Year 2 String Concerts, as well as the Strings Soiree on Monday 14 November 2022. There is also a Band Soiree on Tuesday 15 November 2022 for Year 4 to Year 12. 

Please find below the schedules for each evening.

String Soiree (with Junior School Orchestra)

Please find below a schedule of how the night will proceed for our students.

  • 3.20pm – Junior School Orchestra students will be escorted to Senior School
  • 3.30pm – Sinfonia (Year 6 to Year 9) rehearsal begins in Potts Hall. Junior School students are supervised in classrooms
  • 4.15pm – Junior School students attending Mandarin and afterschool care are escorted to Senior School
  • 4.30pm – Dinner for Junior Orchestra and Sinfonia students is served
  • 4.40pm – Chamber Orchestra rehearsal begins
  • 5pm – Students are escorted from Junior Jazz Dance Rehearsal to Senior School to eat and prepare
  • 5.15pm – Junior Orchestra rehearsal
  • 6pm – Concert begins
  • 7pm – Concert concludes

Band Soiree for Year 4 to Year 12
Tuesday 15 November 2022
4.30pm
Potts Hall

Please find below a schedule of how the night will proceed for our students.

  • 3.30pm – Students meet in Potts Hall. Junior School students will be escorted to Senior School campus
  • 4pm – Sausage sizzle for all students
  • 4.20pm – Students return to Potts Hall
  • 4.30pm – Concert begins
  • 5.50pm – Concert concludes. All students will meet their parents/carers in the courtyard outside of Potts Hall for collection. Roll will be taken for students in Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 before they are permitted to leave.
