Layla Attends Vogue Summer School in New York

Over the holidays, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Vogue Summer School programme in New York City, where I studied fashion business. Through this programme I was able to make lifelong friends with likeminded individuals and gain valuable insights into the fashion industry through lectures from industry experts.

As part of the program, I visited the Vogue headquarters at the One World Trade Center, explored the Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein archives, and even saw outfits worn by various celebrities to the Met Gala. The program concluded with a group project where we created our own brand and presented our ideas to the class, allowing us to apply what we had learned in a creative and practical way. Being immersed in the heart of the fashion world was an inspiring experience that gave me a deeper understanding of the industry and strengthened my passion for creativity, design, and business.
