Directors Report
Last weekend marked a massive celebration of sport at MLC School, with 20 teams competing in grand finals. Congratulations to all students for their commitment throughout the season, and special recognition to those who went above and beyond in demonstrating exceptional school spirit and sportsmanship. It was amazing to see all the students who weren’t playing but came to games and cheered and supported other MLC School teams. A huge shoutout to the entire Year 7 Water Polo team who came to watch the MLC1 and MLC2 Water Polo teams. All went home with sore throats and covered in pink and blue zinc!
Looking ahead to the start of Term 2, we are excited for a busy and eventful first week. Highlights include NSWCIS and IGSA trials for representative sports, the Senior School House Swimming Carnival, Senior School Cross Country Trials, and several knockout football fixtures, including the NSWCIS Cup Plate and the Bill Turner Trophy.
Sport is an integral part of life at MLC School and plays a vital role in the development of the whole person. We applaud every student who participates, whether striving for excellence or simply giving it their best.
We wish everyone a wonderful and safe term break and hope to see many of you at our Holiday Sports Clinics.

Tennis
We are excited to be exploring an expansion of the MLC School Co‑curricular Tennis Program to better support students of all abilities and interests.
Planned developments include:
- Private lessons
- Semi‑private lessons
- Small group coaching sessions
We are also looking to broaden opportunities for students from different year groups to play and train daily, providing greater flexibility and increased on‑court time.
We welcome feedback from students and families and would love to hear your suggestions on what you would like to see included in the tennis program moving forward. Please send your feedback by the end of the holiday break or enquiries to:
