What an incredible term it has been! Our students have truly outdone themselves, and everyone involved – whether competing, training, or cheering from the sidelines – should feel immensely proud of their achievements.
This weekend, several of our teams will be playing in the IGSA Saturday sport competition grand finals. Best of luck to our MLC01 Netball team, MLC01 and MLC02 Hockey teams, as well as MLC01 and MLC02 Football teams. If you’d like to come along and support, we’ll have blue and pink zinc and pom poms ready to help you cheer the teams on. Let’s show our school spirit – MLC School on three!
On Tuesday the MLC football teams had their final training session before the grand finals. They had a jersey day where all the students needed to come in their favourite football Jersey. With Scott Carpenter’s connections we had several students wearing some very special ‘Ellie Carpenter’ jerseys that she played in for Olympic Games, Asian cup matches and World Cup. Big thank you to Scott for the good luck celebration for this weekend’s match. We will all be channelling Ellie over the weekend!
For those signed up for Term 4 Saturday sport, keep an eye on your inbox in the coming week for an email with details about training sessions and locations. As soon as we receive the draws from IGSA, IPSHA, or other invitational competition organisers, we will share them with you. Please make sure your daughter attends both training sessions and all games.
