From the Head of Senior School
ANZAC Service
Our ANZAC service this year was a poignant and meaningful event, reminding us all of the sacrifices made by so many for our freedom. It was a deeply moving occasion that brought together our community in a spirit of remembrance and gratitude.
Our students did a wonderful job marking the occasion. I was particularly proud of Ella Baker (Year 12) and her leadership of the Cadets and Marirose Giann (Year 12) for her words of welcome. Zoe Likely (Year 12) delivered a meaningful historical reflection and Michaela Kwaan played the last post and the Rouse beautifully. I also extend my thanks to Inez Murray (Year 11) , Uma Singleton (Year 12) and Sharon Laurens (Year 12) for leading the assembly as soloists for the hymns and anthems.
Opera House Concert
I have been so excited listening to our rehearsals for the Opera House concert. Trevor Mee (Director of Music) and his music team have been working so hard to prepare the students and musicians for the night. Earlier this week, you will have received a very detailed letter regarding the logistics for the evening. You can read it again here. Due to the unusual nature of the day, those students that are onsite in the morning will be in classes, however we will be adjusting the timetable and lesson structures in order to accommodate the fact that we will have staff supervising a large number of musicians at the Opera House and to ensure that those students do not miss content delivery.
Please log in to Omnia for access important information pertinent to your daughter and to submit permission.

Blazers to and from school
Please note that all students are expected to wear their blazer to and from school until they arrive at home. Year 10 to Year 12 need to wear sheer black stockings and not the regulation black tights. Students have now adjusted to wearing the winter uniform and should expect to receive Accountability Points if they are not wearing their blazers.
Study Hub
Study Hub has been slowly building again this week and we are pleased to see that students in Year 11 and 12 are taking advantage of the opportunity for quiet assisted study. Please see the timetable below for the teachers who are able to assist for the upcoming week.
