From the Head of Junior School

Year 2 hosted the Kindergarten to Year 5 assembly this week – it was a delight and such a creative way to demonstrate their learning. Congratulations to all involved. At the same time, Year 6 joined the Senior School at the House Athletics Carnival at Sydney Olympic Park.

Celebrations of Learning

This week, Pre-Kindergarten hosted their Celebrations of Learning. My thanks to all the parents and carers who generously made time available to visit their daughter’s studio. It was a delight to see how much joy these celebrations brought to the Pre-Kindergarten girls and the big people too! Click here to view the full story in this newsletter.

Father’s Day Celebrations

It has been a wonderful week of celebrations for our dads, granddads, uncles, and other significant male role models. It was wonderful to see so many attending MLC School’s Father’s Day breakfast.

Thanks to all our volunteers for the Father’s Day raffle and stall, and to our families who purchased raffle tickets.

Following the breakfast was the Junior School Father’s Day Paper Planes event. What fun! This was a whole Junior School event, and there was so much joy as each family created their own plane and competed for their School House.

Congratulations to the winning team who won the paper plane trophy – LEAWARRA!
