Celebrating Artistic Excellence: Giuliana McCluskey-Voigt (Year 11) Selected for NAS HSC Intensive Program

We are delighted to announce that Year 11 student Giuliana McCluskey-Voigt has been successful in her application for the prestigious National Art School HSC Intensive Studio Practice 2025, with a focus on life drawing.

This program is highly competitive, with only a selected few from across the state accepted. Giuliana’s selection is a testament to her dedication, skill, and creative growth in Visual Arts.

‘Here are a few of my drawings. The first ones are quick, three to ten minute gestural drawings, and the other two are ones we did at the end of the day for a few hours.’

Her portfolio so far showcases a dynamic range of techniques, from expressive gestural sketches to more refined, time-intensive compositions. These works reflect Giuliana’s evolving artistic voice and her readiness to take on advanced study.

The HSC Intensive Studio Practice runs across two modules held in the July Holidays and then in the September/October Holidays. We look forward to seeing what she will produce in Term 4.

We extend our congratulations to Giuliana and thank all staff and families who supported students in applying. If your daughter is interested in applying for 2026 and beyond sessions, please look at the options on their website and talk to class teachers. For any questions, feel free to reach out.
