Applications for Australian Youth Orchestra programs now open

The Australian Youth Orchestra (AYO) (now led by CEO Kimbali Harding (1997), MLC School Music Captain) offers a wide range of programs for young musicians. From the flagship Australian Youth Orchestra, to National Music Camp and Young Symphonists, these programs aim to provide students with immersive, engaging, and challenging training across multiple periods each year, attracting the hardest working and most driven students from across the nation. 

As an alumnus of the AYO myself, I highly recommend anyone who loves making music or is considering studying music at a tertiary level apply to audition.

The programs MLC School students might be interested in are Young Symphonists, National Music Camp, and the Australian Youth Orchestra.
