Year 10

Year 10

It’s been a great week as Year 10 are looking forward to the holidays. It’s time for a rest and relaxation with family and friends after a busy term. There are end of term rituals at MLC School that signal the end of term – communion with Rev Vinnie, Luminary celebrations and co-curricular awards nights to celebrate the achievements of the season. The Cadet camp has been a great success, and we look forward to hearing about it next term. The Year 10 Mock Trial team fought a winning case as part of their competition. Year 10 this week learned about the importance of academic honesty and registered their details with NESA. The details about work experience have been shared with the girls and through email with parents, and more information including the presentation can be accessed on Omnia. If you have any further questions about the work experience program, please contact Nicole Massara in the Careers department.

A letter regarding the Year 10 Immersion Program was also shared with the girls and parents. You can access the letter on the Year 10 page on Omnia.

When the girls return in Term 2, they will need to wear winter uniform. Remember to take a look at skirt lengths and ensure blazers are ready to be worn each day. Details about the winter uniform are available in the Parent Information Handbook.

On behalf of the Year 10 Luminary team, we wish the Year 10 community a Happy Easter and restful holiday break. Term 2 begins with all students returning at 8.15am on Tuesday 21 April 2026.
