Year 11
As the term draws to a close, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful experience of working with Year 11. It has been an absolute pleasure stepping in as Acting Head of Year again in 2025, and I have thoroughly enjoyed every opportunity to engage with this remarkable cohort. Their energy, commitment, and ability to rise to challenges have been truly inspiring.
As we move into the holiday period, I encourage all Year 11 students to strike a healthy balance between study and relaxation. While the holidays provide a valuable chance to revise and consolidate learning, it is equally important to allow time for rest and a mental reset. This balance is crucial for maintaining both academic performance and overall well-being.
We finished the term with the MLC School Colour Run. I’d like to highlight the fantastic efforts of Year 11 during the recent MLC School Colour Run event, where the Year 11 Bake Sale was a resounding success. The students demonstrated exemplary organisation, dedication, and generosity in managing the bake sale, showcasing their teamwork and leadership skills. A special shout-out goes to our SRC representatives, who went above and beyond in ensuring the smooth execution of the event. Their hard work and enthusiasm truly made a difference, and I am incredibly proud of their contributions.
Thank you to all parents for your continued support throughout the term. Your involvement plays a key role in the success and growth of our Year 11 students, and I look forward to seeing what this exceptional group will achieve in the coming months as they step into becoming the leaders of the School.
Students return on Tuesday 22 July 2025 – in full winter uniform. Check Uniform requirements in the Parent Information Handbook here.
