MLC School Drama Students make the 2025 ATYP Youth Advisory Board!
Some MLC School students have been successful in becoming part of the Australian Theatre for Young People’s (ATYP) Youth Advisory Board.
Our girls applied alongside hundreds of other applicants ranging in ages from 12–26 from all over Australia to earn a place on this team.
The Dance, Drama and Entertainment (DDE) Department supports students in creating external industry connection which will support their growth and allow them to thrive in the creative arts industry beyond school. The skills these girls will learn as part of this program will transcend the Drama classroom and allow them explore teamwork, collaboration, public speaking and gain insight how a long-standing Australian Theatre Company functions.
The full list of students involved can be seen below:
- Ella Rose Zraika (Year 8)
- Amara Sivagurunathan (Year 8)
