MLC School Dance Teams Represent at AASCF Winterfest 2025
Congratulations to our Hip Hop and Pom teams for their strong performances at the AASCF Winterfest competition held Saturday 21 June at Sydney Olympic Park Quay Centre. Our dancers represented MLC School with discipline, focus and commitment.
In the Primary Scholastic division, the Mini Pom team placed fourth and the Junior Pom team placed third. The Year 3 – Year 4 Mini Hip Hop team secured second place, while the Year 5 – Year 6 Junior Hip Hop team took third. These results reflect the consistency and cooperation developed during after-school rehearsals.
In the Secondary division, the Senior Pom team placed fourth for their clean execution. The Year 7 – Year 8 Intermediate Hip Hop team achieved third place, and the Senior Hip Hop crew earned first place, receiving the title of Senior Hip Hop Overall Grand Scholastic Champions 2025.
These results would not have been possible without the time, care and expertise of our Dance staff. Thank you to Ms Jess, Miss Afamia, Miss Maya, Miss Madi, Miss Tori, Miss Jorja and Ms Skepper for their support, leadership and choreography on the day and leading up to the event.
