Year 9

It has been wonderful to see how Year 9 have engaged with their learning and reconnected with their peers over the first two weeks of term.

This week during Luminary time, Year 9 set a ‘growth mindset goal‘ for the term. A growth mindset goal is about continuous learning and development, rather than just achieving a specific outcome. For example, instead of aiming to get a certain result, a growth mindset goal would be to improve problem-solving skills by practicing regularly. During this activity, Year 9 were encouraged to identify what steps they would take this term to achieve this goal, and who they can ask for help and support

Year 9 students also attended the MLC School ANZAC Service on the Sports Fields on Tuesday. Thank you to all the cadets and musicians who took part in the service; all Year 9 demonstrated leadership and respect during this important occasion.
