Year 9

Year 9 have had another busy week! This week amongst the assessments, the Middle Years Leaders were absolutely wonderful ambassadors for the school at the Year 7 2025 Immersion Day. To hear the students speak so proudly of their school, and show confidence in themselves and their peers was something special and joyous to witness.

This week in Academic Care, the students were all together in a session with David Posker-Hill (Academic Care Coordinator) and discussed how to google and breaking down fake news. It was an engaging session and I encourage you to ask your child about what they learned.

Next Friday is the Senior School House Athletics Carnival! I have heard the students discussing their House themes and outfits and love that the involvement level is so high. This is a reminder that it is a compulsory day and I’d love Year 9 to start showing leadership in all that they take on.

Further to Melissa Boyd’s (Deputy Principal) note about uniform for the rest of Term 3 and Term 4, please note that Year 9 will not begin wearing the senior uniform until Term 1, 2025 when they begin Year 10.
