Last Friday, our athletics team competed in the IGSA Track and Field Carnival for 2024. We had the opportunity to compete in Division 2 this year, and the girls definitely proved why we deserved to be promoted from Division 3. - Harlow Elsibai (Year 8) – Division winner and 2nd overall for high jump
- Alaska Durie (Year 9) – 2nd in division and 6th overall for shot put
- Elysse Diep (Year 10) – Division winner and 4th overall for 100m, division winner and 3rd overall for 200m

Being the Captain for this team has been an absolute privilege. Working with such a talented and enthusiastic group of girls has been a joy and I cannot wait to see what they have in store for the next few years. I would also like to thank Ms Lisa Filby and the Sports Department for their hard work and dedication to our team this year. Congratulations to all team members for 2024, you all worked incredibly hard to earn these fantastic results, so let’s aim for more next year!
