Year 7
Thank you for your feedback on how much you enjoyed hearing from the girls in last week’s newsletter. What makes me so excited is how many of the girls responded and wanted to share their experiences. So…. I have some more for you!
‘Going into Year 7, I was nervous about what would happen. Mostly about assessments and schoolwork. This year I have learnt to go out of my comfort zone and give everything a go. We are always provided with great opportunities and should take advantage of each and every single one. Overall Year 7 has been great and I can’t wait to go into Year 8!’

‘Reflecting on my first year of high school fills me with gratitude for the positive experiences I’ve had. I am blessed to have met some amazing individuals who have been a constant support system for me through thick and thin. Despite the occasional obstacles that came my way, I learned the art of effective communication and setting healthy boundaries, which only strengthened my relationships. Although my academic journey had its ups and downs, I’m proud of myself for staying on track and not giving up. As I enter Year 8, I feel excited to continue my journey of growth and learning.’

‘As a newcomer to MLC School, I have found my journey through Year 7 has been absolutely amazing. Of course, there have been certain challenges that I have not experienced before, like assessments, studying and learning to stay organised. I have loved weaving my way through Year 7 and putting myself to my full potential. Personally, I love being busy. I love doing sports every day and I love having events on, because I find always having something on makes me happy and stimulated. I love that so far Year 7 has been filled with so many activities and events on, that I have been stimulated and happy. I also love how social everything has been. I have made so many friends. So many lovely friends that support me, help me, love me and respect me. I do think that next year I could improve by studying more. Studying is not exactly my strong suit because I find myself distracted by small things. If I focus on what I’m doing at the second, I can productively research, and study. I think that my journey through the rest of Year 7 and my journey through high school will be just as organised, happy and stimulated, full of friends, studying, focusing and challenges! I look forward to the rest of my high school years and working to my full potential.’
