Highly Commended effort for Alicia

The image above is Alicia (Year 10). Alicia competed in the John Locke Institute Essay Competition for 2020 and received a Very Highly Commended prize for her essay in the History section.

Her special interest research project and essay was on women’s rights and the law. It is a very interesting and complex discussion on a challenging and current debate. This is an incredible result from one of our quiet achievers in a highly competitive international competition. Well done Alicia and to Mr Joseph Pfeffer, for his encouragement of Alicia’s efforts.
