135th Annual Speech Day at the International Convention Centre

MLC School’s Annual Speech Day is one of the biggest days in the School’s calendar. It is a celebration and acknowledgement of achievement during the year, covering academic, creative and sporting categories, along with several Special Awards. 

On Thursday 10 December 2020, the whole School packed up (in stages) and moved to the International Convention Centre at Darling Harbour, our new venue for this year.

MLC School staff did a magnificent job, moving the students in and out of the venue and navigating a completely new set of change rooms and backstage exits and entrances with musical instruments and props.

MLC School families were also instrumental in ensuring the day ran smoothly, COVID restrictions and social distancing were notified and followed accordingly.

We are definitely looking forward to using this venue again at the end of 2021 and with the relaxing of restrictions, being able to welcome many more participants.
