Baseball Gala Day

During the Baseball Gala Day Wednesday 17 September our Juniors had a strong start with 6 outs against Fairfield Patrician Brothers and 5 solid runs with 8 outs to make the win over Marcellin College Randwick. Intermediates also had their fair game, unfortunately it wasn’t enough to push through as Champions in their pool and earn a spot in the finals. Congratulations to Seniors for achieving the furthest in the competition, the team fell short against Holy Cross Ryde in their 3rd place playoff match.

Well done to all students representing in the gala day, it was a wonderful day filled with solid pitching and in field fly balls. Thank you to Ms Dreon and Ms Stojic for leading the teams.

Tennis Gala Day

On Thursday 18 September Tennis Gala Day finally happened, with constant push backs due to poor weather students were able to have a hit on the court. The teams consisted of Juniors with two divisions and Seniors A team. Unfortunately with the squeeze of the College calendar this year our Intermediates were given the short end with scheduled assessments during the reshuffle. It was our Junior A and Senior A teams that came on top at the end crowning as Division and Conference Champions and winning Gold for Marist as well as our Junior B team receiving Bronze in the competition. Thank you to Mrs Davis for guiding our team to victory.
