Sport Report
This week’s sport was full of excitement, with gala days and teams earning medals across five different sports.
Baseball Gala Day
Our students knocked it out of the park on Wednesday 9 September at the Baseball Gala Day, with both our Junior and Senior teams taking home gold medals! Both squads played exceptionally well throughout the tournament, displaying outstanding teamwork, sharp fielding and impressive composure at the plate against tough competition. Winning double gold is a tremendous achievement and a true testament to the dedication, sportsmanship and skill shown by all the players. Congratulations to both teams on an incredible, undefeated standard of play and a well-deserved victory!
Tennis Gala Day
Tennis Gala Day, led by Captain Aarin Majithia and Co‑captain Jamie Doo, was finally blessed with good weather. Our teams outperformed the opposition to claim undefeated titles in both the Junior and Intermediate Divisions. Thank you to Mr Armstrong and Mrs Burland for their support in leading the tennis teams.
AFL
AFL this week were Semi Finals for both our teams. Congratulations to Ms Stern and Junior AFL Conference 2 winners.
Rugby 7’s
Junior’s season concluded by winning third place play offs against St Vincent’s College. Intermediate made it to the Grand Final and were runner’s up taking the silver.
7 A Side Football
Once again it was a nail biting finish for our Intermediate 7 A Side team finishing on penalty shootouts.
