Year 11 Camp – Highlights by Mrs Johnston
Mrs Johnston, Mrs Burnley, Mr Holdsworth, Dr Williams were the staff blessed to take our Year 11s on their annual camp which took place on the last three days of term 2. This year the crew stayed at Busselton Baptist campsite.
Students were kept busy with visits to the Crooked Carrot, Busselton Jetty, Observatory, campsite, foxholes, Ngilli caves in Yallingup, mini golf Busselton, campsite, spoons and games at night, cleaning/packing up, forest adventures for archery and zipline/climbing/obstacle course.
We had amazing food – nachos/chicken schnitzels/pancakes/bacon and eggs and make your own rolls for lunches! Our Year 11s are a pretty chilled well-behaved group which made for a great time of bonding and enjoying God’s creation.
The weather was cold but sunny on the first day. Raining and windy on the second day but stopped when we needed to do our activities. Praise God!
