Wednesday’s Lunchtime Highlight…

The lunchtime activity hosted by our Senior Science Team was called “Great Balls of Water”. Students mixed a solution of Sodium Alginate with a solution of Calcium Lactate and VOILA! Bubbles containing water were formed! AND they were food grade so could be tasted! Students were amazed at seeing how two liquids can come together and create a water bubble they could handle.
