Principal’s Post
Dear Families,
As we come to the end of another vibrant and full term and semester at Foundation Christian College, I want to take a moment to reflect and thank you for the incredible journey we’ve shared together.
This term has been filled with exceptional teaching and learning across the College. Our Primary students have shown great character and resilience through the GRIT interschool competitions, while our Secondary students have embraced opportunities like the Cross-Country event, Outdoor Education camps, and Physical Recreation activities with enthusiasm and energy. A big thank you to all our amazing staff here at FCC. Their dedication, passion for Christian education, and above all, their love and care for our students does not go unnoticed. We are so grateful for each one of them.
We also celebrated Science Week with creativity and curiosity and shared in some great community moments, from our Family Curry Cooking Afternoon to the lively Year 9–10 Market Stalls that brought the entire College together in a spirit of fun and entrepreneurship.
At Foundation Christian College, our core values of Leadership, Integrity, Faith, Excellence, Respect and Service (LIFERS) continue to shape all we do. These values are not just words on a wall, they are seen daily around our college, our playgrounds, and our community interactions.
We’re excited about some significant developments taking place across the College. In Secondary, we are enhancing our facilities with a new outdoor beach volleyball court and workout spaces that will support both structured PE sessions and unstructured play during recess and lunch. We’re also expanding our nature play areas with improved tracks and seating, creating more opportunities for students to explore, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation.
A quick reminder that our last day of Term 2 is today Friday, 27 June, and students will return to begin Term 3 on Wednesday, 23 July. Our Reception Office will reopen from Wednesday, 16 July for any enquiries during the break.
Thank you for your continued support and for partnering with us in your child’s education. It’s a privilege to serve this community and to walk alongside your family.
I pray you all have a safe, restful, and joy filled July school holiday break with your family and friends; and to our students and staff may you have a refreshing and well-deserved break.
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
Colossians 3:17
