Principal’s Post
What a fantastic and smooth start we have had to Term 2! It has been a pleasure to see students settle back into their learning routines with enthusiasm and energy. We have a busy and exciting term ahead, filled with events and opportunities for growth and community engagement.
We began the term with a very special whole college ANZAC Service held outside. Thank you to Commander Tucker and Mr and Mrs Fowler for their presence and contribution to the service. It was a rewarding experience for our students to witness the involvement of a service horse and dog, adding a touching element to the occasion.
Our Year 3–6 students have now commenced their swimming lessons, and it has been great to see their confidence and skills develop. Some of our secondary students are currently completing their OLNA testing. We pray for clarity and peace of mind for each of them as they work through their assessments.
Next week is Production Week! I hope you have secured your tickets for The Sound of Music at FCC. Our hardworking staff have done an incredible job bringing this production together, and our talented students have been dedicated to their rehearsals, perfecting every scene and song. I am incredibly proud of the commitment and passion they have shown.
It is a privilege to live and work in such a wonderful college community, surrounded by servant hearted staff and the opportunity to guide our amazing students. I am reminded of the blessing we have in this place, as it says in Psalm 127:1 “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain.” I am confident that God is building something truly special here at FCC.
Blessings,
Clint King
