What is the length of time you’ve been in educational Advancement?
12 years at The University of Queensland and 5 years at CHAC
What is the achievement or accomplishment you are most proud of?
Working in the education sector for so long!
What is your greatest moment of learning or a challenge that you’ve overcome?
Running the Young Achievers Program at UQ and seeing first-hand, many of the challenges that students from regional and remote areas of the state
What is your favourite TV show or podcast that you are currently watching / listening to?
At the moment, I’m working my way through Schitt’s Creek, such a funny show!
What is your favourite travel memory?
Went to France for 3 weeks with the College in 2023, amazing experience!
What are three tips or words of advice you have for new Educate Plus members and/or those new to Advancement?
- it’s a slow burn
- form and maintain relationships
- and … keep the database clean!
What are three things you enjoy doing in your spare time?
- travel
- enjoying my rooftop terrace overlooking the Brisbane River
- spending time with my kids
- and a 4th … travel
