Christchurch Networking Event
A friendly group of Christchurch Educate Plus members gathered together in the Library at No. 4 Bar and Restaurant in Merivale on 17 June. It was good to meet on a wintery day and catch up. It was good to hear about news and progress from our respective institutions. It was fun to have primary through to tertiary institutions represented including Medbury School, St Margaret’s College and Lincoln University. We were joined by Ed Plus alumna Jo Brady, now at AgResearch and guests from Canon also joined us.
Otago Networking Event
The Otago members met over an informal breakfast on a brisk winter’s day at John McGlashan College in Dunedin. Delicious brunch was provided by the in-house catering team, followed by a tour of fantastic facilities.
Kerry Buchan, Development Manager at the University of Otago, said “It was a wonderful visit and great to see so many local heroes represented around the walls who have contributed to what the impressive school is today. The results of the hard work and determination that Kirstyn and Alumni have achieved is outstanding”.
