The Dolce Vita Collection: A Celebration of Wearable Art

This term, Year 9 Design and Technology students brought the Mediterranean to life through The Dolce Vita Collection,  a jewellery design project inspired by Australian brands Erstwilder and Gorman.

Using laser cutting techniques, students created vibrant, one-of-a-kind pieces including brooches, earrings, necklaces, and charm bracelets. From layered gondolas and lemon slices to scooters and pasta charms, each design captured a playful sense of summer with bold colour and personality.

The girls showed impressive technical skills and a willingness to think outside the box, blending fun with function. Their work highlighted creative storytelling, clever layering, and an eye for aesthetic detail.
