“Othello” – Y11 English Advanced

This term Year 11 English Advanced students took part in an incursion of Othello which was run by the Australian Shakespeare Company. It was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all students. The actors performed with energy and humour and made Shakespeare’s words easy to follow and entertaining. 

 

One of the highlights was the way they involved students in the performance, inviting them to play small parts which, together with the drama kept the students’ attention throughout, making it a lively and memorable way to experience Shakespeare’s great tragedy.
