ISRA Incursion Islamic Science and Research Academy

As part of our Year 12 Studies of Religion revision, Domremy recently welcomed a guest speaker from the Islamic Sciences and Research Academy (ISRA). Students were privileged to hear from Zara, who delivered an engaging and insightful presentation on Imam Al Shafi – an essential component of their HSC syllabus.

Zara’s talk not only deepened students’ academic understanding but also gave them the opportunity to engage with a member of the Muslim community, bringing a real-life perspective to their learning. This valuable interaction helped students consolidate key syllabus content while appreciating the lived expression of the faith they are studying.

The session also reinforced the importance of methodical and consistent revision during this crucial time. Between the Trial examinations and the HSC, focused study and steady growth are vital to achieving academic success. Events such as these remind students that learning is enriched when classroom theory meets lived experience.

We thank Zara for her knowledge and thoughtful guidance, which provided our students with both confidence and clarity as they continue their preparation for the HSC.
