Legacy Week – 30 August to 4 September 2026

Legacy was founded in 1923 on a simple promise from one digger to another – to “look after the family.”

Legacy Week began in the 1940s to show support and raise funds for the widow/ers and children whose loved ones have served our country.

The Legacy badge is a special emblem symbolising our nation’s greatest values of mateship, compassion and fairness. Today, Legacy supports 28,000 partners and children of veterans who gave their lives or health serving our country. 

$2 Legacy badges, which can be proudly worn on the left lapel of the College blazer were available in Homerooms for a $2 gold coin donation last week.

Thank you to all who contributed and helped to raise some $300 for this worthy cause to help support families of our service personnel.
