Prayer

Loving God,

We thank you for the example of Saints Anne and Joachim,

whose faithful love helped shape the life of Mary and, through her, the life of Jesus.

We pray for all grandparents and elderly people,

especially those in our families and our Domremy community.

Bless them with good health, peace, joy

and the comfort of knowing they are deeply loved and appreciated.

Help us to value their wisdom, listen to their stories

and care for them with kindness, patience and respect.

May the hope they carry continue to inspire us to grow in faith,

to trust in you, and to be people who bring your love to others each day.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
