Year 10 Food Tech students visit the Royal Easter Show

Year 10 Food Technology students had the amazing opportunity of attending an excursion to the Royal Easter Show. The students engaged in a wide range of food-based activities and workshops including a honey production workshop and a Bush Tucker education experience for students. Students also attended a working dairy presentation where students learnt how a commercial dairy farm operates. 

The Woolworths Food Dome has exposed the girls to various upcoming food trends and new food products. Students enjoyed speaking to the farmers about the royal district displays and have had a great insight into some of the challenges they have faced over the past few years. It was an enjoyable and educational day despite the rain!
