Wok and Roll Chinese banquet – Year 12 Hospitality🍜🥢🫔🥟🏮🥠

On Wednesday 20 March, Year 12 Hospitality students hosted a Chinese-inspired banquet for some very lucky members of staff at the College.

In the lead-up to this event, Year 12 spent time menu planning, developing recipes and designing the perfect restaurant set-up. The menu featured the following dishes:

  • Entree – San Choy Bow, Chicken Dumplings and Vegetarian Spring Rolls
  • Main – Fried Rice, Beef Noodles, Mongolian Beef, Chinese Greens, Honey chicken
  • Dessert – Mango Pancakes

The students set the mood by playing traditional Chinese music, decorating the room with paper lanterns and of course including Fortune Cookies.
