Dragon Boating success continues for Isabella
There is no denying that Isabella Taranto (Y11) has amassed an impressive sporting CV already with her Dragon Boating. Last year we reported on her many achievements and, as a recap, you can read all about those, including her being selected to the NSW team and to the Australian team, in the links to our previous issues below.
Another year and it is safe to say it is shaping up to be another big one for Isabella!
So, what has Isabella been up to lately?
Having made the NSW team she is going to Perth in the April school holidays to race for NSW and to race in the Australian Championship and for her local teams, the Rydes and Joeys, which are teams made up of young competitors from all over Australia.
Isabella is then travelling to Italy at the end of August, to race in team vs team in the upcoming World Championships. She will be competing in one of the two junior teams selected to represent Australia and is racing in the U16, U18 and U24 events.
As if the above weren’t enough and to get ready for the year’s competitions, in two weeks’ time Isabella is competing and racing in the NSW Championships.
