Welcome to the Study Hub in 2024!

A particular welcome to our new Year 7 students and other new students to the College!

In the Study Hub we are looking forward to a year of reading, information and thinking outside the box.

To kick off the new year a number of initiatives to entice our girls to embrace the reading habit are afoot.

St Valentine’s ‘Date a Book,’ reading promotion

Firstly, take part in our St Valentine’s ‘Date a Book,’ reading promotion. 

Many of our top reads have been wrapped and disguised to engage our readers’ curiosity and interest. Simply select a wrapped book (with a sticker hint of what is inside), unwrap and borrow through OLIVER (our Study Hub Management System) with Mrs Harada and write for us a 50 word review of the book hidden inside.  Upload your book review on our Study Hub google classroom page by Wednesday 28 February for a chance to win a $25 Dymock’s voucher.

Design a Bookmark 

Calling on all those students who enjoy creativity and design!

We are looking for the very best Bookmarks that will be featured on Open Day and enjoyed by all students who borrow books from the Study Hub! Design your very best Bookmark creation! We want to showcase your talents whilst at the same time jump starting reading!

2024 Book Club

In 2024 there will be a Book Club for all ages! Ask Mrs Harada for more information.

2024 Premier’s Reading Challenge

 Anyone in Years 7-9 are also encouraged to join the 2024 Premier’s Reading Challenge.

Don’t forget to visit the Study Hub and ask about our facilities, resources and initiatives!!!
