Dear P-Y6 Parents,

If you have not yet read about the arrangements for next week’s Music and Special Groups Photos or Sports Photos, please go to the Deputy Head section and read this information very carefully.

We have enjoyed a busy week with Musica Viva performing for all year levels last Monday and plenty of CETOP Week activities to engage the boys in all year levels.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: WINTER SEASON UPDATE FOR BOYS IN Y3-Y6

The winter sport season will end this coming weekend on Saturday, 5 August. There will be no Saturday sports games after 5 August, until the start of Term 4. On Friday, 11 August the Y3-Y6 JS boys will be playing in their House Football competition and on Friday, 18 August, they will be playing House Rugby. On these days, Y3-Y6 boys should bring their House T-shirts to School.

Staff News

We are delighted to welcome Fiona Chan to CJS for the rest of this term. She will be supporting Peter Fox, teaching Music across the Junior School, during Jane Holmes a Court’s ongoing absence. Fiona is an experienced Music Teacher, having worked in schools in Sydney and Hong Kong. She is a pianist, with a Master’s degree in Creative Music Therapy, as well as a Bachelor of Music Education from the NSW Conservatorium. I am sure our Junior School community will warmly welcome Fiona.
