Creating Learning Resources for Swiss Students

In the last two weeks, several Year 3 students fostered global mindedness by creating learning resources for children learning English in Switzerland. Through a connection between Rosie Heckes, our Year 3 Educational Development Teacher, and a curriculum development teacher in Switzerland, the students were asked to create a video introducing themselves, discussing the number of items and the colours of things in their school bags.

The students filmed a short video, and a longer one, where they also included a special item on or inside their bag. These videos will be sent to Switzerland to be used in the coming years as good models of spoken English and of how students introduce themselves.

We are very proud to have represented our School in a way which will also impact other students across the world.
