Year 4 Fisherman’s Beach Excursion
This Tuesday, Year 4 went on their annual excursion to Fisherman’s Beach near Collaroy. Students explored why and how our coastal landscape is changing. They gained a deeper understanding of how and why geological changes can occur through hands-on activities, such as weather testing, rock and dune investigations. On a guided walk, they had the opportunity to observe and reflect on the cause and effect of both natural and human-made changes. Finally, they were shown how to use maps and geological equipment to measure the weather.
