Here at Santa Sabina, we offer students many opportunities to explore the positive impact\u00a0that social enterprises have in our community. Below are student testimonials from a presentation from Sr Sheila on the Kopanang Community Trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u2018Attending Sr Sheila Flynn&#8217;s presentation on the Kopanang Community Trust was a transformative experience for me as a Year 11 Business Management student in the IBDP. Sr Sheila&#8217;s insights into the establishment of this social enterprise provided a real-world perspective on the principles we&#8217;ve been studying. Learning about the Kopanang Community Trust highlighted the profound impact social enterprises can have on empowering individuals, specifically women, to lead more meaningful lives.\u2019<\/em><br><strong>Mia Pisano<\/strong><em><br><\/em><br><em>\u2018Attending Sr Sheila Flynn&#8217;s presentation was insightful as it provided a deep dive into the world of social enterprises, a crucial aspect of our curriculum for the upcoming Paper 3 examination. Sr Sheila&#8217;s passionate explanation of how Kopanang empowers women to lead meaningful lives left a lasting impression on me.
